Our Slovenian MMN member Zasavje Regional development agency (RDA Zasavje) is taking, through its project ALL IN, a great initiative to foster intercultural dialogue and social inclusion. The project that commenced in January 2019 and will run till the end of 2020 seeks to highlight the positive aspects of migration and diversity, help people from different cultures identify with one another and push for more openness towards migrants and inclusion.

Throughout the duration of the project, the implementing team will be gathering and sharing in its blog stories of migrants from various backgrounds. Moreover, it will facilitate a process for some of them to meet in person as well as with people from their host societies, in a process that wishes to humanize migration and make people realize that there is more than just data and numbers behind it but it is instead a collection of personal stories, hopes and struggles. Additionally, ALL IN will also collect and publish cooking recipes that will transfer different cultures into people’s kitchens, thus furthering cognition and bridging of people’s cultural differences.

The project team will identify the positive aspects of intercultural dialogue and seek to address negative reactions observed and discuss them in 7 transnational study visits that will also present all European citizens with the opportunity to participate in various activities. The recipes and the stories collected along with a selection of good practices singled out will be published while a pdf brochure will present the final products of the project.
